Weddings sort of inherently bring in gifts. There are gifts for the bride and there are gifts for the groom. Heck, there are usually gifts for the best man and maid of honor, too. However, when little kids are on such great behavior when participating in a wedding, I feel as though they deserve to have a part in all of the gift receiving, as well! I'm talking specifically about flower girls. They work so hard on the big day to be pretty and well-behaved. Not only do I think they deserve a gift on the big day so that they can share in the enthusiasm, but I also think that this gift can serve as a souvenir for the child for years.
When the girl works so hard to dress up as nicely as a doll, I feel as though a doll is the perfect gift for her on this big day.
