Slimming Fabrics and Colors

Saison black1.jpg
Every girl wants to look thin-or so it seems. But most girls feel even more pressure to look thin on the days when they dress up. This could be for something like Prom, a business meeting, or..especially…a wedding. Many girls diet for weeks before weddings and work hard to find the perfect dress that will complement their bodies. However, some women are simply picking the wrong colors and fabrics. There are certainly some fabrics and colors out there that will take 5-10 pounds off of you image-wise and if you’re struggling with your image, these should be essential for the dress you’re wearing on the big day.
FABRICS
Stretchy fabrics are usually the best. You want something that pulls into you. Spandex blends are great. The key is to have the dress tight enough that it gives you a great shape, but not so tight that it shows every single part of you.
COLORS
Dark colors are key for women who are trying to appear thinner. On top of that, consistent colors are also key. Having one solid color from head to toe will make a woman seem taller and therefore slimmer. Crazy and bright patterns are the worst for a woman who is trying to watch her weight.
At the end of the day, everyone should simply be comfortable with their weight, but if you’re not, try carefully considering your fabrics and colors when picking your important dress.
