Gossip columnists are abuzz with news of the Zellweger-Chesney split, which occurred after only four months of marriage. The couple married May 9 in the Virgin Islands after about a day of dating. Word has it the split was caused by Zellweger’s urgent desire to have children, undaunted by the fact she did not even know her groom.
“Her biological clock is ticking loudly,” a Zellweger insider tells the paper. “She is desperate to have children. Renée’s understanding was that Kenny wanted a family, too. It was Kenny who got cold feet.”
Apparently, Zelleweger’s clock is making too much noise and scaring off country singers, comedians ( Jim Carrey) and cover men (ex beau George Clooney of Men’s Vogue fame). Somehow she needs to muffle the ticking of her biological clock long enough to snare another unsuspecting groom. Good luck Renee!
